Nearly everyone will face a brain-related problem during his or her lifetime. What kinds of breakthroughs are being made in neuroscience? What research is most important to families dealing with neurological problems? What role does the federal government play in neuroscience research and advocacy?

Sen. Ron Wyden headlines an important gathering of key scientists and leaders from OHSU, Oregon State University and University of Oregon, and state advocacy group leaders to share dialogue, discussion and debate about the future opportunities for neuroscience research.

David Heil, science education facilitator and former host of the PBS series “Newton’s Apple” hosts the event. The public is invited to attend this fascinating town hall!
